Excellent Insulation
An insulated roof from National Patios can provide both significant energy savings and improved acoustic comfort for your outdoor area all year round.
The insulating qualities of building materials are usually measured and described as their R Value - the higher the R Value the better the insulating qualities and energy savings.
Some examples of common R-values:
- Glass windows 0.17
- Double glazed windows 0.5

Single Skin Roofing
National Patios offers a range of quality single-skin roofing panel solutions for patios and patio covers.
These panels are ideally suited to a range of styles including flat, gable and pitched / flat combinations and are now available in both steel and aluminium.
Options also include both flat and high profile panels (pictured). These high profile panels offersome significant advantages over flat profiles with the W-pan profile creating more structural strength and integrity than flat profiles (as the W-pan profile uses more material per square metre than flat profiles.)
The W-pan profile also offers lesser heat absorption than flat profiles due to the generation of a temperature gradient across the surface. The energy from the sun is incident on the roof at different angles. This sets up small amounts of circulating air profiles on the roof resulting in less heat absorbed by the surface
